General Scope The Pre Billing Coordinator collaborates with Dispatch/Communications, Field crews, Operations, and the Billing office to ensure that all required transportation related documentation is complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with the communications team and field crews in order to successfully complete and submit all required ambulance and chair car documentation
  • Manage patient files and trip records by entering and adjusting data.
  • Reconcile documentation against daily reporting
  • Interact with field staff to support improved outcomes, identifying deficiencies and recommending remedial training as appropriate
  • Resolve issues impacting the receipt of complete and accurate documentation by coordinating with both internal and external resources
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient data and related records
  • When communicating to healthcare partners, represent Cataldo in a professional manner Identify offenders, and recommend progressive disciplinary actions related to deficient paperwork, CAS policy CS101 Patient Care Documentation

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant, professional work experience
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional problem solving, interpersonal communication skills, and time management
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, understanding of professional standards
  • EMT Certification not required but preferred

 

Education, Licensing, & Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
